Currently I support the Southern Rocky Mountain Region for Multi-Chem, A Halliburton Service. This position entails ~50% field work in CO, NM, WY, UT. My main focus is to provide technical support to operations throughout the region and drive continuous improvement. The vast majority of my time is spent performing the following tasks:•Planning and conducting oilfield surveys of the following issues: corrosion, mineral scale formation, oil/water separation and emulsions, water clarity issues, solids formation, sour production, loss or decline of production, off-spec oil and gas, bacteria induced souring or corrosion, flow assurance, frac additives, etc.•Performing lab analyses on produced fluids and solids to determine composition and identify root causes of issues•Screening products to identify proper solution and evaluate performance•Drafting formal recommendations of chemical programs for E&P clients•Implementing chemical treatment programs

Production Engineer for Propylene Oxide Purification & Ethylene Oxide Distribution facilities in Freeport, Texas. Responsible for production and distribution of quality goods, inventory management, advanced process troubleshooting and optimization, equipment clearing procedure development, spill reporting and emergency response management.

Working under graduate researcher as well as advisor in the field polymer surfactant rheology. Prepared samples and lab equipment, ran experiments, and analyzed data. Results led to the development of technical reports and presentations.

Worked with an industrial process team designing a crude oil degassing facility to be constructed in Abu Dhabi. Performed both vessel and line sizing calculations. Participated in complete facility HAZOP analysis. Daily activities included extensive PFD and P&ID creation and updating.

Studied hydrometallurgy process used in copper production. Designed and performed experiments to determine the effect of additives on the growth of molecular structures. Performed tests on both bench scale and pilot plant level and successfully scaled up results over the course of the summer.
