Preparing scopes of work/proposals for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Indoor Air Quality Assessments, removal of subsurface features (underground storage tanks, hydraulic lifts, clarifiers, etc.), groundwater monitoring. Managing communications for active projects with subcontractors and clients regarding project scheduling, field work, laboratory analysis, and report production.

I worked on an undergraduate-level honors thesis with a professor within the Biology Department at Amherst College. My research focused on examining genetic differences among individuals of a particular plant species, Lycium australe, as a means of understanding the genetic relationships among populations of the plant and the broader evolutionary history of the species.

Working with a graduate student and a principal investigator in the Davidson Lab at Caltech, I was tasked with determining the viability of CRISPR-Cas9 as a gene editing tool for purple sea urchin DNA. I was also responsible for reporting on my findings at the conference for Caltech summer undergraduate research.

As part of a project headed by the Gray Lab at Caltech, I worked with other high school students and high school graduates to improve a recently developed system for testing combinations of semiconductors to be incorporated in next-generation solar cells and photocatalysts. I was also responsible for presenting, in part, on my group's findings at several conferences regarding alternative energy.
