As a software developer at IFS, I work with a team of talented engineers to create innovative software solutions for our clients in the aerospace industry. I have contributed to multiple projects, but my primary role was to create new, and improve current, CI/CD automation systems to provide a better developer experience and simply creating new releases of our software to customers, including their individual custom solutions.I started as a self-taught programmer at age 15, creating video games with complex networking systems, while documenting my journey on YouTube. Later graduated from the John Abbott College Computer Science program in 2019 with honors. There I learned the fundamentals of software development, such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and data structures. I also gained valuable experience as an intern fullstack web developer at Dicom Transportation Group, where I developed and tested a user-friendly interface for their internal system, as well as the creation of a third-party API for their parcel shipping service.lately, I've been working on a project using the Elixir programming language. I found that programming using different language. paradigms has helped me in my day-to-day job, is it opens my eyes to new ways to tackle problems, test code, and avoid bugs. I've also been using Phoenix LiveView for this project, and it's been interesting to see new ways of writing web applications with SSR that don't require any JavaScript code written, but can update the DOM on the fly. I love programming and learning new technologies and skills. I am always eager to take on new challenges and solve complex problems. My goal is to continue to grow as a software craftsman and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the users and the clients.
