After my Freshman season at Mount Union, I underwent surgery and sat out the 2022 season. During this time I was a student coach for the football team. After being cleared to play again I worked to come back for the 2023 season. During this time I aggravated the same injury again, leading to stepping away from football and assuming the position as a Student Assistant Coach.

During the 2023 Summer, going into my Junior year at the University of Mount Union, I accepted an internship with the Office of Marketing at the University. Throughout this experience I gained different views on many different forms of marketing. The emphasis of this internship was to learn through experiences while also being thrown right into what is, "the college marketing world", which is very competitive on many different levels. Through the three months in which I worked in this office, I was tasked with designing and making the campus website more accessible, designing t-shirt designs for on campus events, designing brochure ads, networking & making calls to alumni potential donors, photographing campus events for social media posts and ads, helping with the Bluecoats, who have recently made Alliance their summer home, and doing research along with other offices all over campus to advertise and give the community information about our universities past and what their future holds.

The purpose of this job at the University of Mount Union is working the desk in the Center of Student Success on campus and helping students as well as recommending/suggesting different ways, books and resources around campus in which they could use to solve the issues that they may be experiencing.
