PVHC currently is one of the largest Home Health companies in South Texas. With 7 branches and over 200 field nurses, PVHC continues to set the standard for home health care. My position requires me to oversee the IT administration of each facility and field staff. We deploy an EMR solution that allows all nursing and administration staff to have real-time access to patients' charts and visit information. All of our field staff use a handheld device that we can remotely take control for troubleshooting purposes thus creating less downtime between visits. My motto is productivity with technology is key.• Work closely with the CEO and COO to drive technology and improve overall productivity of in-house and field staff.• Initiated a company wide computer upgrade solution involving a custom Linux distro and small form factor computers that saved a total of $41,075.61 in upgrade and licensing cost.• Converted all paper documents to online resources for quick retrieval and faster processing.• Initiated a 7 branch VPN solution and network infrastructure.• Initiated a company based remote control monitoring and support solution for all administrative staff and field nurses.
