By remaining open-minded to this method, and with my approachable, professional, and creative personality I consistently exceeded sales targets regularly achieving top salesperson in monthly figures. My sales approach is that of clarity and honesty with the customer, understanding and qualifying the customer in detail, and providing creative designs that are aligned with the customers requirements, and budget.

With an experimental approach to design, Yormii aim to produce unique, stylish and functional designs, leading with inspiration from our ever-increasing need for easier usability due to an ageing population. 2012 saw the launch of the millmii salt & pepper mill, a patented design that was awarded:- Red Dot Product Design Award 2012. My role was to accumulate, organise & analyse the postal vote data for the UK on the run-up to the 2009 European Elections under David Cameron's Premiership. Walking past Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament each day was a profound and humbling experience. Westminster is full of excitement and drama. Working at Millibank, Conservative Central Headquarter's I gained a valuable insight into a varied working environment. I believe that an Industrial designer does well to experience as many walks of life as possible, to take part in, and understand different cultures. This contributes to a greater understanding of design problems that we face, and an ability to offer real solutions and innovations.

The client wanted to develop a Construction Industry Helmet for use at height (on scaffolding). This project benefitted from my previous experience managing large design projects and designing innovative in-house products for ASP Ltd. As a result, the client has a ground-breaking new product that has the potential to flood the market.The product utilises exciting new technology that I researched into for enabling regular tests to be carried out on the product and much more.

I began work at ASP on a competition placement - the Shell STEP most enterprising student in the UK. The brief was to carry out research for a new product that tested the integrity of pipes when installed in the ground. I designed a new Digital pressure manometer for which I sourced internal circuitry and pneumatics. The product was submitted for patent protection. I went on to win the title “the most enterprising student in Central England”. ASP employed me during my graduation year, during which I developed the product further in preparation for manufacture. During this year I also developed a number of in-house products and carried out market research for these products, branded them, and exhibited them.

An exhilerating experience working in one of the toughest climates in the world (the Simpson Desert), in one of the toughest jobs in the world. Wirilyerna cattle station is in the centre of Australia, and is the size of a small european country. I helped in the day to day running of the cattle station such as fixing bores, fixing fences etc. I also had the privelege of mustering cattle. This involved traveling across the desert (sometimes for days), rounding up several hundred head of cattle, and walking them back to the station for sorting. This involved the use of horses, scrambler motorbikes, 4WD's and a helicopter.

Visy Industries is a large packaging and recycling company. I worked for Glama-Pak, a Visy packaging factory in the beatiful Grampian region of Victoria, Australia - in a town called Kilsyth.Here I got an insight into the operation of a large packaging factory that supplied many of the wine boxes for the surrounding vineyards. This experience too, sparked a great interest that developed into a passion for printed media.
