Profile bio

About Nathan Bosia

Hi, I’m Nathan. I am a global partner relations and business development executive with over 20 years' experience initiating and building long-term developer, publisher, platform and retail partnerships in video games and entertainment media. During that time, I led two $1B businesses and debuted seven new $100M product lines while launching various consoles, games, digital stores, accessories, and a long list of multi-million dollar content, marketing, and distribution partnerships.I’m a curious and lifelong learner who has made a career of seeking out new and interesting problems through which I could learn and improve. While I specialize in video games, I am a generalist who has adapted to a variety of roles and challenges. I have been a video game platform, a publisher, a retailer, and currently, a developer. I have experience in game consoles, virtual reality, handheld and mobile, physical and digital games, accessories, free-to-play, augmented reality, and cloud gaming. I’ve also dabbled in crowd-funding, merchandise, streaming video, productivity software, and more. If my superpowers are leadership, business development, account management, and negotiations, they are complemented by a skill-set that extends into product development, sales, marketing, operations, legal, finance, and beyond.Still Reading? I’m flattered. A little more about me and my style:I like solving hard and interesting problems. I enjoy building ambitious and disruptive products just as much as navigating high stakes negotiations and partnerships.I am competitive but also appreciate and embrace competition. I ask my teams (and leadership) to lean into, then out-perform potential disruptors.I believe in leading by example and from the front, through positive reinforcement and celebrating wins.I value employee health and happiness, as well as the long term gains in retention, productivity, and capital that they produce. I chase people out of the office at 6PM, take the team to the local pub on sunny Friday afternoons, and audit excessive vacation time balances. Parenthood has made me a softy. I cry when I miss my kids, when my friends get married, and when my people get promoted. I have values. And integrity. I believe in doing the right thing. And working with good people. In my spare time, I read leadership and business books. And while everyone is a photographer these days, my niche is screenshots of persuasive marketing mechanics, nudges, and conversion funnels that I find on the web.

Listed skills include Leadership, Gaming Industry, Ps3, E Commerce, and 40 others.
