I joined the company as an Experienced QA Test Analyst due to my prior experience as a Software Tester.My duties and responsibilities consisted of;- Testing of in-house products using a range of iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as desktop browsers.- Logging of defects in products using JIRA to a high standard- using Back office admin systems for the managing of accounts and ensuring systems are operating correctly.- Creating and carrying out test suites using Testrail- Performing testing tasks without any assistance- Assisting in Test Planning and creating documentation- Training new starters and coaching members of the teamDue to my ability to understand the bigger picture, the company goals and the role QA as a department play in delivering quality products, I was promoted to a Senior QA Test Analyst

Within 9 months I progressed from Support to Product testing. Duties included; - Managing testing efforts and producing testing strategies, - Conducting extensive tests on new products created in-house and working with developers to improve performance on applications, ranging from web based products to smartphone applications, - Carrying out manual investigatory and exploratory testing. - Some experience writing front end unit tests for React.js components, - Implement automation into testing procedures, - Create detailed test plans which would be used by the support team who would then provide a further round of testing prior to releasing products to customers,- Troubleshoot and further investigate issues from Support Team to assist with resolutions - Communicating testing results to Product and Technical Managers, - Using Visual Studio Team Services to manage bug reporting to development team,- Running SQL Queries to investigate issues, collate data and run detailed reports- Mentoring Support Staff and assisting with their training.
