The team has grown from 3 to over 30 in the same time period. Led the engineering team to bring the product quality to a respectable level and over time pivot from fixing existing features to developing new functionality.The entire focus of Delphix has shifted towards compliance during that time.Often tasked with initiating new projects or products, including Automated Sensitive Data Discovery, Masked Replication, data subsetting and others.Mentored and trained many new college graduates and early career developers and QA engineers.Responsible for providing technical oversight for Delphix's outbound open source projects.

Primary designer and one of two implementors of the data layout engine for vSphere Distributed Storage (http://cto.vmware.com/a-preview-of-distributed-storage/). This component determines how to layout object data across the magnetic disks and SSDs available the cluster using striping and replication such that the performance and availability requirements specified by the user are satisfied. It also determines how and when to repair objects after hardware failures to bring them back into compliance with the user's policy requirements. I was also involved in the early design discussions of other components and protocols.Previously, I was the primary owner of the backend functionality for virtual machine snapshotting in all VMware products.Implemented various functionality in the VMware Paravirtualized SCSI emulation and driver.
