City Councilman
CurrentI was elected to fill out the unexpired term of Randy King who died in February, 2003 after being elected in 2002. The special election was held in October, 2003 and I was fortunate to be selected from among three qualified individuals. I've been blessed to have been re-elected without opposition in 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022.Over the years I have served on all the various committees at different times as well as Mayor Pro Tempore. I've also served as one of Pineville's appointees to the Rapides Area Planning Commission and the Metropolitan Planning Organization. In addition, in 2014 I was elected the District E Vice-President for the Louisiana Municipal Association to serve on their Executive Board and served through 2022 having been reelected without opposition each year. Currently I serve as President of LaMATS, the Louisiana Municipal Advisory and Technical Services Bureau, a wholly owned subsidiary of the LMA.
