As the only distribution center in the US, a major focus is on benchmarking and best practice alignment with other global DCs to optimize customer experience and cost.

One of the first 5 branch managers in the new logistics division in the US. I am responsible for operating a warehouse that provides distribution services to a variety of customers. The role involves management of all aspects of the business from administrative tasks of sales, recruiting, HR, training and finance, to operational tasks like labor, asset, and facility management.

I supported everything happening within the four walls of company warehouses across the USA, and traveled 50% of the year to accomplish this. In this role I supported domestic branch managers and operations managers in designing their warehouses from racking design to material handling equipment needs, work flow and the hardware and software to support warehousing and distribution operations. Training and optimization of current systems while also probing for better solutions and implementing them was another major objective. In this role I also acted as the administrator for our in-house developed WMS and managed all major new customer implementations from an operational and IT/EDI perspective. I provided sales support through attending sales calls, hosting system demos, and responding to RFQ/RFP's. My favorite tasks involved 3D modeling of warehouses, researching new equipment and technology and challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities include oversight of invoicing for multi-million dollar account, performance metrics reporting, and creation of Excel tools for frontline employees to use in quick data analysis.
