Direct oversight of 160 member team responsible for Major and Principal Gifts, Annual Giving and Digital Philanthropy, Foundation Relations, Planned and Legacy Giving, Corporate Philanthropy, Third Party Events, Cause Marketing, Corporate Employee Giving, Legacy and Affinity, Signature and National Events, Business Intelligence, Prospect Development and Resource Development.

Report to the Vice Chancellor of Advancement with direct oversight of 200+ member team responsible for Annual Giving, Campaign Management, Corporate & Foundation Relations, Data/Analytics, Donor Relations, Finance, Gift Planning, Human Resources, Principal Gifts, Research, Resource Management and Talent Acquisition/Management functions that support 300 Advancement professionals with annual private support goal of $200 million.

Originally served as primary fundraising counsel and campaign consultant for UC San Diego External Affairs from September 2011 to April 2013. Transitioned to Senior Executive Director of Development - Health Sciences Development - Campaign Initiatives and Operations in April, 2013.Reported to the Associate Vice Chancellor Health Sciences with direct oversight over 40 member Health Sciences team including Major Gifts, Events, Grateful Patients and Development Communications supporting an annual private support goal of $75 million. Primary responsibility of driving major gift and principal gift strategies, providing strategic counsel on transformative gift prospects, recruiting and managing a cohesive team of exemplary professionals.

Served as fundraising counsel and primary campaign consultant for UC San Diego External Affairs from September 2011 to April 2013. Transitioned to Senior Executive Director of Development - Health Sciences Development in April, 2013.

Scope of position involved an intense focus on operations, strategic planning and tactical execution of various campaign initiatives, annual fund programs and marketing and branding initiatives. During tenure grew from one facility to ten facilities within three cities. Field Service Consultant for Boys & Girls Clubs of America with specific expertise and focus on fundraising strategy, operations and board development. Also served as President of the Orange County Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs.
