- Designed, developed, and delivered new features across multiple product release cycles for GE Healthcare’s invasive cardiology medical device Mac-Lab/CardioLab.- Collaborated with healthcare industry professionals in understanding and developing with technologies in the healthcare field, such as HL7, waveform signal processing, and encryption standards.- Redesigned the HL7 feature of the Mac-Lab/CardioLab product by developing: a HL7 output specification, advanced encryption, data transfer methods, and an XSLT data transformation layer. - Implemented adaptive pressure waveform signal filtering feature using learning algorithms. - Create product requirements, unit and integration tests, FMEA mitigations, and traceability documentation during feature development to be used in regulation audits, such as for the FDA/EMA.- Performed impact analyses against technologies that regularly update for each product release.- Inventor in patent of a catheter authorization system used in the Mac-Lab/CardioLab product.

- Collaborate with fellow engineers to ensure quality of Symantec’s product NetBackup.- Help train and lead new and experienced engineers in using the Perl scripting language in order to maintain test automation for NetBackup.- Viewed as office expert (go-to) in maintaining and using multiple hardware configurations in an automated testing environment.- Scrum master in an Agile environment; help guide a team to meet done-done-done criteria on bi-weekly sprint user stories.

- Worked with industry professionals, in an Agile – Scrum environment, to help Symantec produce and maintain quality enterprise backup software while learning new technologies along the way.- Successfully worked with agile team to create GEARS, an object oriented approach that increased reliability and reusability of automation code and decreased overall lines of code by over 90%.- Lead effort with fellow engineers in the construction of a multi-server vCloud environment, integrating key VMware and vCloud technologies, and successfully launched it to company stakeholders.- Collaborated with two other Symantec interns to create GEARS, which allowed us to win the national Symantec Virtual Internship Showcase, resulting in a trip to California to meet Mike Brown, CEO of Symantec.
