Tasks include: Designing and leading group fitness classes specialized for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and other motor control difficulties while focusing on boxing techniques, cardio workouts, strength training and overall fitness improvement; demonstrating and explaining various exercises and routines to minimize injury, promote safety and improve fitness; monitoring clients performing exercises to ensure proper technique and form; providing various options of exercises if they need modifications; monitoring client’s progress and adapting/progressing the programs as needed; assessing the physical and health conditions of clients; performing client-centered personal training.

Tasks include: Setting up and using modalities (such as ultrasound, EMS, TENS, IFC, hot packs, etc.), monitoring patient exercises, basic administrative work (such as booking appointments, taking payments, monitoring stock, and preparing assessments), shadowing the physiotherapists, laundry, infection and control maintenance.

Tasks include: COVID-19 screening people wanting to enter the building, booking visits, handling enquiries, socialising with the residents, feeding the residents, performing COVID antigen and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing for staff or visitors, and other general tasks.

Tasks include: Running exercise interventions with residents at the home, performing passive stretching to the residents, assisted walking, transferring residents manually or using sit-to-stand lifts, performing basic wheelchair ergonomic analyses and assessments, administrative work (such as organizing/tracking interventions performed by residents), setting up and using modalities (such as TENS, hot packs and ultrasound, etc.).
