Kidz Delight is the US division of KD Group, an international manufacturer and distributor of Licensed Toys and Electronics. We manage $15-$20MM in annual revenue with a small, remote crew. Both Import and Domestic placement at all major US retailers and extensive e-commerce business with Amazon.Responsible for all Finance and Operations needs, including all day-to-day transactions, all external non-sales communication with retailers, and all internal Budgeting and Forecasting. Perfect Company makes Interactive Recipe Apps that work with Bluetooth Connected Kitchen Scales. Launched in 2013, they have sold 500k+ scales and millions of app downloads. Partnered with Vitamix and NutriBullet to grow their customer base and Taco Bell to expand into commercial kitchens. Extensive SaaS recurring and in-app revenue streams. Furloughed most employees in April, but likely will not survive COVID-19.Built and managed the Business Model for investor meetings including 3 & 5-year forecasts, detailed cash flows, sources & uses for the next raise, current customer status, and more. Previous Perfect Co business had been Import-Only from China. Converted the existing Direct Import manufacturing business to Domestic, building an entire US-based inventory and accounting system. Established a margin control system complete with detailed cost tracking. Prepared all Financial documents for board meetings and investor presentations, including budgets, forecasts, sales updates, etc. Managed Due Diligence for multiple fundraising rounds. Detailed ARR reporting and forecasting, including the standard LTV/CAC metrics as well as custom SaaS KPIs to match our revenue streams. Responsible for projecting and acquiring all incoming AR, managing all invoice and cash accounts, and reporting overall company health. Reconciled accounts for the US and HK entities as well as all distribution partners. Full P&L responsibility. Identified and contracted an appropriate 3PL to handle US shipping and receiving needs. Built all necessary EDI systems and order processing procedures. Managed all customer needs (item setup, order processing, invoicing, payment, etc.) to keep the business flowing. Led the company through three successful audits. Provided all ad hoc reporting.

Techno Source is a mid-sized player (15 US and 20 HK-based employees) in the manufacture and distribution of licensed mass-market electronic toys, managing $100M+ in sales across the Toys and Consumer Electronics departments of all major US retailers.Direct supervisor of the Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Sales Support groups. Promoted to the Executive Team in 2012 after a very successful year in both Sales and Operations. Oversaw the purchase of Techno Source by Li & Fung, including the integration of all Finance and Reporting systems.  Responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting full P&L contribution for US division. Worked closely with China-based Accounting teams to identify variances and provide root cause analysis for any significant changes.  Built the Sales Reporting system for Techno Source and managed it directly for years. Integrated it into the China-based reporting system for Li & Fung. Provided weekly POS (Point of Sales) reports from all major retailers, complete with seasonality and forecasting comparisons and industry insights. Represented the division at Senior Management Meetings to discuss upcoming strategy. Presented quarterly results and updates as well as fielding questions from senior management and other directors.  Handled all Reporting and Analysis of financial performance and major project reviews. Presented regularly to the group CEO and senior management in Hong Kong. Managed 8 direct reports including Accounting, Sales Associates, and Customer Service. Hired, retained, and developed a highly efficient and motivated staff. Lead analyst on the New Technology Discovery team, reviewing both internal and external proposals for system upgrades and investment / acquisition potential.

Aspen Pet Products was a leader in the manufacture and distribution of branded and private-label Pet Toys and Accessories. After growing from $40M to nearly $100M in Sales and purchasing many smaller players, Aspen was itself purchased by Petmate in 2007.Responsible for reporting of all Operations, Sales, and Finance data. Project Manager of multiple cross-functional initiatives.  Managed the systems integration of Aspen Pet Products and Petmate, including a full Oracle implementation and connecting all Financial, Sales, and Warehouse systems. Automated existing Reporting systems - reducing weekly time investment by 80% - and reconciled all numbers to match audited financial statements. Built a profitability tracking database so that new products and proposals could be quickly reviewed and approved and existing business could be reported with all applicable expense categories. Identified inefficiencies in Shipping Expense by Retailer, the #1 non-salary expense, and negotiated improved rates or agreements with providers and retailers.
