I have had experience with Automation in different industrial settings, i.e. In the manufacturing of Semi-Conductors and Aerospace industries as well as more commercialized settings such as Pharmaceutical Dispensing automation for use in low to high volume Pharmaceutical distribution. Within this experience I have worked extensively with PC based Automation as well as systems with proprietary controls/software, PLCs, including troubleshooting and writing/editing Ladder Logic programs from manufactures like Alan Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Vision, and Fanuc (to name a few), and had the opportunity to work servo motors and drives, induction motors, and linear drive motors.Although my education is in Electronics, I have had many opportunities and have excelled at crossing disciplines into Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and General Mechanics. I have had great opportunities to learn these disciplines working on a myriad of system configurations to the end that I can make reasonable assessments of system problems and troubleshoot all to resolve issues.Eventually I hope to get into designing of Automated systems for manufacturing and hope that the knowledge I gather along the way will aid me in this goal.Specialties: Electronics, PLCs, Motor Controls, Electro-Mechanical, Customer Service/Training, Strong Mechanical Aptitude
