As CaptiveAire's Corporate Safety Director, I facilitated initiatives in both compliance and behavioral based safety to limit frequency and severity of injuries within our manufacturing plants, as well as for our service technicians nationwide. Lead 6S Kaizen events on the Final Assembly Floor of Joy Mining's Franklin, Pa facility. Interact closely with vendors to procure equipment and material needed to complete events (Via SAP software). Supervise 3-6 maintenance/seasonal workers to complete weekly events in a timely fashion.

Provide quality control and assurance on a variety of construction projects (concrete pours, compression testing, compaction, penetrometer testing) in the summer of 2010. Also provided assistance with labratory testing (Proctor tests, Gradations, Moisture testing) while in continuing my degree until the fall of 2010.

Assisted recitation leaders for two sections of calculus for the Spring 2010 semester. Returning of papers, distributing course materials, and answering of in-class questions during individual and group work were among the major resposibilities. Also, tutored math, science, and engineering based courses at the Engineering Learning Center to incoming freshman engineering students.
