Xome acquired Assurant's Mortgage Solutions division. Managed various software development teams both local and remote using both Scrum and Kanban. Heavily involved with architecting the migration of existing systems to Xome's order management platform and decommissioning the legacy applications. Integrated our amazing Forms Engine with their order management platform, which Xome elected to keep and begin using for their products. Ensured our software and SDLC complied with SOX and SSAE 16.

Mentored a new Manager who reported to me.Worked on project Ascend as a SME to build a new microservice based application that would support all 4 acquired businesses.Managed an agile to to deliver the Forms Engine which has transformed the way we create our product. The Forms Engine was deployed as an MVP using microservices for a single form and then continuously improved to support all forms and additional requirements including validation and rules engines. This followed the Strangle the Monolith pattern.Continued the DevOps transformation working toward push button releases with automation throughout the entire SDLC while still passing SOX and SSAE 16 audits and penetration tests.Started at less than 20 deployments per year and are now over 400.Improvements to monitoring and production support tools.Conducted retrospectives on every major production incident to enable continuous improvement. Production incidents have been greatly reduced in both frequency and severity.Deployed several services running in Docker containers while moving down the path of using a managed Kubernetes service in the cloud.
