As a Course Instructor at Fort Huachuca, I teach Small Unit Tactics, Land Navigation, Basic Rifle Marksmanship, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Hand To Hand Combatives, and Convoy Operations to future military intelligence officers. Over 20 years of military, high threat experience and 10 years of experience as a supervisor at 82nd, 101st Airborne, 10th Mountain Divisions and other prestigious specialized units, led and mentored 40 to 130 paratroopers and light infantrymen in various missions and operations in training, on five combat deployments (US Army), 1 contracting deployment, and 3 humanitarian deployments. Served as a personal security officer for Brigade, Division, and Theater level-General Officers, trained by civilian agencies and the US Army PSB, applied skills in defensive driving, weapons handling, and tactics in combat theaters. Trusted to lead teams of 5-12 joint military personnel to conduct personnel recovery into Asia, the South Pacific, and Europe. Operating in small team’s autonomously, conducting technical and exploratory missions. Also entrusted to be the Team Sergeant of the first team to lead Americans into North Korea for an agreed recovery operation until administration changes happened. Extremely committed to reconnecting combat veterans with former unit members in an outdoor setting that includes classroom and outdoor adventure. Wishes to involve non traditional therapy using adventure activities and team building as well as relaxation, equine therapy, and communication, to help curb the veteran suicide pandemic and support my brothers in arms.
