The Presales Academy, based out of San Ramon. California, is a training program designed to equip young professionals with the skills needed to be the best-of-breed in their field of either sales or presales. I was lucky enough to be a part of a class of 52 in 2017 that went through the Presales track.This included 6 months of intensive in-classroom training. Through this training, I was enabled with the skills to support the software deal process through industry and technical expertise. I was also empowered to be able to design and explain innovative software solutions, create engaging customer presentations and find innovative ways to add value to customer engagements.At the end of the 6 months, I graduated the classroom component of the program and spent the next 6 months with ‘in-the-field’ training in the sales cycle, specifically for the SAP Analytics suite. Accounting Systems Support

As a 'bridge' between the IT and Accounting functions, my role is to ensure that both departments are able to function effectively. This can be effectively split into 2 partsThe first part being creating systems with the Accounting Technical Services function of IT to assist in the function and continual improvement of accounting functions. This includes SQL Database and Report Server Management.The second part is assisting our international accounting functions with the use of current systems. This involves creating documentation to support said functions, help videos and 'walk-through' presentations as well as being an on-call service technician.
