    Boylston, Massachusetts, Us
I started as a volunteer and became an employee in 2019. I teach Science in the fields of Adaptations, Ecosystems, Botany, and Nature to elementary, middle, and high school age students. Many of the students reside in the urban setting and have little experience with nature. I lead groups of students in guided interactive explorations of the gardens and surrounding habitats who are visiting on school field trips. Our grade by grade curriculum complies with the Massachusetts Science standard framework and focuses on ecosystems and Plant Biology. I also lead guided nature walks for families and adults. Comment from teacher, Luann Gallagher of Chandler Elementary. “I would love more time with Nate! He was a wealth of knowledge and a joy to listen to! He is very engaging with the children and they had a ball. Several kids hoped to see you again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
