Responsible for the official Derry 'City of Culture' 2013 campaign to secure the Fleadh Cheoil, the world's largest Irish music festival, worth a potential £40 million to local businesses and set to attract 250,000 visitors. I co-ordinated a strategic international campaign via social media, networking, political lobbying, press and the production of promotion support materials. During the campaign I also worked closely with prominent figures within the Irish political, arts and marketing sectors. This included direct lobbying to the NI government, national events with speakers from the Office of First and Deputy First Minster, the Irish President, leading Irish Senators, the Mayor of Derry/Londonderry, MLAs, and Irish American leaders.
