Performed the role of product owner / manager for the development of the Mainship product suite, envisioning and overseeing design and development of DAC's enterprise class media asset management, analysis, and exploitation platform. Designed and developed custom solutions, integrated best of breed third party technologies and worked with other DAC divisions to leverage and incorporate internal R&D into the platform. Led a team to deploy, integrate, and support Mainship media monitoring systems at 5 major US Defense and Intelligence agencies.

Established the software engineering group in 2003 to provide software development and integration services to produce turn-key, enterprise-class video asset management systems. Initiated and directed development of the company’s Mainship media asset management product line in early 2004. Drove product development funded through product sales, and contracts for custom integration and product support. Led a team to develop, deploy, integrate, and support Mainship media monitoring systems at 3 major US Defense and Intelligence agencies.TSI was acquired by Decisive Analytics in 2005.

Lead architect and developer on a variety of large projects working with a diverse customer base in numerous industries. Projects covered fields of business such as payroll, accounts receivable, time and attendance, human relations, union contracting, manufacturing, and video asset management. Established company software standards, bid and proposal, and project processes. Built and maintained development hardware and software infrastructure to support team-based development efforts.

Began working full time as a software developer while attending engineering school. Later registered the company with the UofL Speed Scientific School's co-op program. Consul was acquired by Koinonia Computing in 1997.
