Worked with PepsiCo Recycling Team, NFL Environmental Program Director, and other local stakeholders to organize and facilitate multiple waste diversion projects at Super Bowl XLIX and satellite events.Organized and managed volunteer team for post game clean up to exceed industry Zero Waste standards and achieve 91% diversion rate on game day at the University of Phoenix Stadium.Coordinated and placed 385 PepsiCo branded recycling bins to contribute to waste diversion goals at Super Bowl Central, the NFL Experience, and the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Supporting a clean environment, the College Football Playoff practices a number of unique sustainability projects to “green” the national championship game and to encourage others in the college football family to do the same.Worked with the Playoff Green Team and local community partners in Tampa, FL to green the game. Projects included the Gerdau Playoff Green Campus Challenge, Solid Waste Recovery, and Material Repurposing.

Worked closely with the Sustainability Director of College Football Playoff, Jack Groh, to coordinate and execute a comprehensive series of environmentally responsible initiatives ranging from waste reduction, tree plantings, emissions reduction, and material re-purposing.Engaged 40 University students as Game-Day Recycling Ambassadors to enhance fan experience through recycling inside the stadium – over 12 tons of recycling diverted and direct hauled to recycling facilities with no sorting required.Achieved a landfill diversion rate of 91.38% in the stadium on game-day after all material was sorted and processed.Partnered with 5 local non-profit organizations to re-purpose over 15,000 lbs of material from the stadium and an additional 15,000 lbs from the downtown Phoenix events.Organized, managed, and executed the 2nd annual Playoff Plant-off where representatives from each CFP school, as well as local universities, competed in a tree planting challenge. Participants included students and alumni from Alabama, Clemson, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Arizona State, and the University of Arizona - 50 trees were planted through to guidance of the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department at Marivue Park.

Worked strategically with clients to bring value to their organization by implementing sustainable practices through student led projects.

Designed an Orientation Curriculum to assist with New Member on-boarding.
