I initially was contacted by Fusion Alliance to join their team, and about 6 months later, they were acquired by New Era Technology. Same role, new name on the paycheck. I helped to further establish and develop the HubSpot offerings from our Digital Transformation department... creating processes, working with sales / business development, mentoring / training developers, technical architect on projects, client strategy, go-to-market strategy and development of HubSpot themes for Asset Marketplace.- Part of the leadership team for the digital transformation department, helping beyond HubSpot, reaching into other CMS offerings like WordPress, Magento and Butter CMS, and helping to move the department forward as a whole.- Sales support, helping sales team with CMS projects, working on estimates, SOWs, project planning, presentation decks, and potential client presentations.- Serve as a technical architect on CMS-based projects, working with the client to determine the best way to solve for what they need, and then translating that into instructions for development to make it a reality. • Started this full-time web development business with a focus initially on custom web design and hosting, all within the Joomla CMS environment. Grew from a start-up to a well-known and respected developer in the international Joomla community.• Developed multiple custom Joomla extensions for clients that ended up becoming well-known, commercially available products that were marketed and supported to thousands of international users under the name of DTH Development. The main extension, DT Register, became the leading event registration option for Joomla.• Using Scrum methodology, oversaw product development. Managed team of developers and tech support within virtual office, some based in other countries.• Handled client-paid customizations to the Joomla extensions (products), bug fixes, regular product updates/releases, implementing feature requests, and new product development.• Created product tutorials (written and video) and managed tech support via tickets and forum. Ran regular webinars for both training and pre-sales demonstrations.• Communicated regularly with client base via email blasts, social media and website to notify of products updates and detail newly added features, bug fixes, etc.• Closely followed the development and updates of Joomla and integrated 3rd party applications to ensure our products maintained functionality and were updated appropriately to coincide with 3rd party changes.• The company grew each year and most biz assets were purchased in Nov. 2012 by another company. • Oversaw all web development for Zake USA, which includes many companies and websites, the main one being swagtron.com. All sites are WordPress and WooCommerce based. Handle site updates, maintenance, integration of outside tools (ex: Beeketing, AWS), custom programming.• Work with a marketing team in the Denver office, also coordinating with teams in offices in other states.

• DTH is the side of my business that I sold. I continued to work with the company, overseeing the ongoing direction and management of the products I had developed.• Oversaw all ongoing development of our custom Joomla extensions (products) as well as development of new products. I also assisted in technical support, pre-sales communications, and development of the company website and other client websites as needed.

I contracted with Dialing Innovations doing miscellaneous PHP development on their web-based applications and other website projects. This involved many API integrations with services such as Twilio and Zapier.

I started DTH Development as a child business of DirectTech Web Solutions. The focus of DTH Development is creating custom extensions for the Joomla CMS platform. I oversee all works of DTH and do a little bit of everything.
