A Bachelor's in Microbiology and a Master's in Life Science brought clarity on concepts in fundamental and disease biology as well as drove great enthusiasm to pursue a research oriented career. Internship at ACTREC bridged theoretical and practical knowledge in cancer biology and helped attain excellent in vitro wet-lab skills. R&D Experience with Unilever proved to be an exhilarating experience learning about industry R&D. Doctoral journey has broken down Life-Science barriers by taking interdisciplinary and translational approaches to solving research problems. Thesis work is focused towards developing novel tissue engineered immunotherapeutic glycomaterials for sTBI repair and regeneration.Long-term goal is to take up an industry R&D role in Neuroscience & Neurodegeneration.
