I build community on Dordt's campus by planning large and small group events for the entire student body, and trying to build a closer relationship between students and staff and faculty. I am also one of two leaders in charge of an apartment building on campus housing mostly seniors.

Traveled back to Odessa, Ukraine for the summer where I consulted with the seminary president about his seminary and professional websites. I developed a few aspects on the seminary website as well, using PHP and SQL to query search results from a library database and present them neatly on the web page.

Worked at McDonald's on and off for over two years.

I was in charge of one wing of 42 guys in a dormitory. I welcomed all the students, created community on the wing, planned events, enforced rules, and got to know each of the students on a more personal level. I was a member of the Student Services staff for this year.

I lived in Odessa, Ukraine for nine years. The summer after moving to America, I returned to Odessa for six weeks to help coordinate four missions trips from America. This work involved scheduling, budgeting, preparing housing and transportation, and assisting these groups while they were in Odessa.
