As a political science graduate with a minor in public policy and public administration, I have a passion for education and civic engagement. I have 11 months of emergency management experience from interning at the City of Huntsville, Texas. I supported the planning and execution of disaster preparedness and response activities, such as developing emergency plans and coordinating with various stakeholders. Most recently, I applied my interpersonal and teaching skills as a math teacher at Huntsville Independent School District, where I taught algebra and geometry to high school students and helped them achieve their academic goals. I am looking for opportunities to leverage my skills and knowledge in the fields of education, public policy, and emergency management and to contribute to the mission and vision of an organization that values community, innovation, and social impact.
