In the twelve months the mailing department grew by over 50% with profitability increasing substantially through newly developed procedures capturing revenue leakage and taking advance of SOW opportunities through exisiting traditional offset customers.

This result was achieved through an improved production workflow by working with my Production Manager to eliminate bottlenecks, improving administration processes and manufacturing techniques which led to a leaner operation and a large improvement in the gross margin. In my final weeks with Horizon Foundation we effected our strategic marketing plan to grow geographically as Australia’s largest manufacturer of Timber Saw Horses through a national contract with Bunnings. I was also responsible and accountable for the compliance to WH&S standards AS/NZ4801 and the Commonwealth Disability Standards.“Marketforce Mail & Finishing Services” 2007-2009After losing their biggest customer through an interstate move resulting in a loss of 40% of their sales income I was brought into a role to develop a strategic business plan to turn the business around. I focused on “business security” through a structured pricing system, documented QA processes, source of business analysis and an improved customer service experience which resulted in “secure” business growth of around 50% (since March 07) with no emphasis put on “that one big fish”. The quality assurances processes that I implemented resulted in not only quicker turn-around times but a much higher level of customer satisfaction by ensuring “on-time” and “in-full” completion for every job. I took personal responsibility of improving the customer service experience by being the first contact for all prospective and existing customers to ensure that every opportunity was taken to both on-sell new services to existing customers and ensure prospective customers are converted by constant follow-up and understanding their current and future needs.
