MEP Superintendent/BIM Manager for the greenfield enterprise data center located 15 miles outside of Des Moines in Altoona, Iowa. The project is a two phase construction plan that includes three buildings on a 220-acre site. The two 467,000 SF data center facilities feature an outdoor-air cooling system along with additional innovative environmental and energy efficient systems designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification. Responsible for overseeing all mechanical, plumbing, and fire suppression trades on two 467,000 square foot data center facilities. Specific duties include coordinating BIM efforts between all construction trades, overseeing all MEP trades work in the field, organizing and scheduling subcontractors, QA/QC, and assisting in verification and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Superintendent for the construction of a new 125,000 SF steel and precast data center facility for Loblaw's Headquarters in Brampton, Ontario. This mission critical facility’s scope of work also included an office fit out with open-concept work areas, private offices, board rooms, front lobby, landscaping and 25,000 SF of white space. Specific duties include processing MEP submittals and RFI’s, organizing and scheduling subcontractors, QA/QC, and assisting in verification and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment.

MEP Superintendent for the two foor, 101,790 SF, tenant improvement of an existing space. Scope of work consisted of selective demolition of the existing facility with new partitions, doors, millwork, finishes, and 700 workstations added. Additional work included modifcation of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler systems to accommodate the new layout. New MDF and IDF rooms with rooftop equipment, connection of a new UPS, new generator and generator pad, super vault fuel tank to supplement existing generator equipment, and miscellaneous site utilities and structural work were also part of the project. This was a fast track project with up to 60 workers on site and I was responsible for the coordination and scheduling of subcontractors.
