About Nathan Hine

After graduating with an MA in Politics, I wanted to use my degree to make a positive difference to the lives of ordinary people . Therefore, as National Management Trainee (NMT) at Gloucestershire County Council, I have had the opportunity to demonstrate my leadership skills through carrying out a variety of activities across the council. For instance, at the fire service I used my role to highlight the issue of climate change and through carrying out my role as Gloucestershire Anti-Slavery Partnership Coordinator to give greater impetus to the issue. In doing so, I have helped to develop my project management, oral and written communication, time management and organisational skills. This will stand me in good stead as I embark on my career in the public sector with the aim delivering positive change to local communities both now and in the future.
