About Nathan Hodder

Sector Head of Insurance for our multi award winning Insurance team. The Captives guy at BDO in Guernsey. He has extensive experience in providing audit, advice and assurance services to the GFSC regulated Insurance Captives domiciled in Guernsey. Working closely with a significant number of the Insurance Managers based on island.He is the firm’s representative on the Guernsey International Insurance Association (“GIIA”) and he has represented Guernsey Finance at a number of insurance conferences. Nathan also sits on the committee of the GIIA Insurance Development Forum, that helps nurture talent within the insurance sector in Guernsey.Nathan has also been a member of the GSCCA working party considering the solvency rules for (re)/insurance entities and has recently joined our BDO Global Sub-committee for IFRS 17, helping shape BDO’s global response to the new accounting standard. Nathan is also proud to be a Panel Member of the ACCA Channel Island Network,
