Also served as an auxiliary cost estimator. Seasonal duties included overseeing quarterly and annual insurance statement pricing, maintenance of client contacts, project management, and invoicing. Occasional responsibilities included special projects, including an analysis of ink and pressroom costs and a competitive breakdown of vendor prices. Also drafted formal letters to several US lawmakers, arguing against tariffs on Canadian newsprint/groundwood paper (the tariffs were subsequently overturned).

Served as Cost Estimator and Customer Service Manager at The Ink Well. Duties included cost estimating, print and design consulting, job costing, customer service management, production planning, and pre-press supervision. Participated in a manager’s focus group with operational leaders from printing companies across the country, meeting quarterly for two years. The Ink Well was acquired in June 2016, and I facilitated the combination with Riverside Graphics, advised management on transition tactics, and provided ongoing support for existing clients.
