Business at Sterling Accountants was booming, and I wanted to expand on the services that I offered my clients. After meeting local bookkeeper Jamie Davison, we merged to form Carbon Group with a vision to provide businesses with a one stop shop for their core functions, so that business owners don’t have to wear all those hats. Launching in 2014 with divisions in accounting and bookkeeping, Carbon quickly expanded to include cloud integration, insurance and finance. Fast-forward to 2020, Carbon has grown exponentially, with offices across WA, NSW, QLD, VIC and SA, offering a full suite of business services; accounting, advisory, R&D, bookkeeping, payroll, business systems, insurance, finance and financial planning.Growth has been both organic and due to M&A. To date, Carbon have merged with over 20 firms across Australia and this is set to continue.
