Served as the Avionics Officer for the MARFORCOM / FMFLANT Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) Aviation Logistics Department and other staff sections on all avionics matters; including but not limited to, pertaining to mobile facilities, aircraft avionics modifications and significant events that impact the Fleet readiness. Provided support for 2nd MAW, MEUs and SPMAGTFs avionics operational requirements by way of utilization and monitoring of assigned manpower and avionics SE. Advised the AC/S on all matters related to the personnel and material readiness to include regional and worldwide deployment/contingency requirements, Naval Aviation Maintenance Program, budgets, formal training, and career development. Coordinate engineering technical services with supported MAW and underlying MAGs, local Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command, and TYCOMs. Coordinate with senior and subordinate headquarters to ensure supported operational units have custody of required aircraft mission essential aircraft survivability equipment, mission kits or other avionics related capabilities.

Provide 1st MAW Aviation Logistics Department (ALD) Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) , including its branches, information on all avionics matters pertaining to mobile facilities, avionics modifications and significant events that impact the readiness of supported units. Sustain the avionics operational requirements by way of utilization and mentoring of assigned personnel and avionics support equipment within the Wing. Advise the AC/S on all matters related to the Wing's avionics related personnel and material readiness; including Naval Aviation Maintenance Program, budgets, formal training requirements, and career development. Coordinate engineering technical services with supported Marine Air Groups, local Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command, and TYCOMs.

Coordinate all functions related to RQ-7 and RQ-21 (and all variants). Liaison between HQMC, NAVAIR, OEM and Contractors all Flight Clearances, Prototype Request, Technical Directives, and maintenance advisories. Provide recommendations to improve/correct readiness issues. Develop asset contingency plan for surge operations. Provide recommendations concerning methods of employment, procurement, and distribution of UAS and associated equipment. Participate in the UAS NARG process.

Currently avionics SME for F/A-18 A++/C/D, KC-130J, and EA-6B platforms.

Managed day-to-day operations ensuring technical qualifications were commensurate with system(s) required for safety of flight operations. Mentored junior and senior Department members in furtherance of career progression. Managed a rotational manpower force with a greater than 50% turnover rate, while consistently meeting, or exceeding, organizational and Department requirements.
