Nuclear trained, Surface Warfare Officer with over 12 years of experience on four different nuclear reactor plants including a nuclear powered, aircraft carrier. Managed several different engineering divisions responsible for primary mechanical systems, reactor controls, reactor electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators in day-to-day operations, training, qualifications, administration and proper/timely execution maintenance. Interfaced regularly with various Navy and civilian entities to ensure the scheduled key events met deadlines. Served in the Plant Performance Evaluation Activity performing essential evaluations and assessments to drive improvement in nuclear operations and maintenance performances of two nuclear power plants. Transferred into the Engineering Duty community in 2014 and currently study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
