I am a Lead Software Engineer at NC Department of Information Technology (DIT), with over 10 years of experience in software development. I have been working at NC DIT for more than six years, leading development teams in domain design and technical direction, while also being a hands-on developer and a mentor for junior and mid-level developers.My core competencies include C#, .NET, HTML, JS, Vue, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud Services. I am passionate about creating solutions that are designed around the business domain and solve for business problems, using pragmatic and maintainable design patterns. I have successfully delivered both small-scale and large-scale software projects to production, both on-prem and in the cloud. I have been engaged in the department initiative to move applications to the cloud and develop Data Lake solutions for our products. I constantly research new technologies that enable our development team and look for ways to implement them if they fit. My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of the Department of Highways and the state of North Carolina.
