As an Engineering Laboratory Technician at US Navy, I apply my knowledge of nuclear physics, math, and chemistry to perform quality control tests and inspections on various components and systems of nuclear-powered ships and submarines. I have been working in this role for more than four years, after completing a rigorous two-year training program at the Nuclear Power School. I have also developed skills in laboratory equipment, work package management, and safety procedures, and I have contributed to multiple projects and missions that enhance the naval nuclear propulsion program.
