• Provide support to the partnerships that Georgia Tech has with the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP), Moog Inc. and Delta Technical Operations.• Responsible for the creation and management of a digital architecture at the Advanced Manufacturing Pilot Facility. Components include: o Reading machine data through various protocols (MTConnect, OPC UA, serial, Modbus) o Receiving and storing data using Amazon Web Services o Setting up an API for accessing historical data

Provide optical engineering support to all brands at Hubbell Lighting in the following areas:• Design reflector or lens based optical systems for new products • Simulate the optical performance of new products• Serve as a liaison with external optical design vendors• Provide optical analysis and support to Photometry Lab operations and improvement projects• Official NVLAP Signatory: guarantee photometric tests are compliant with NVLAP standards and internal quality guidelines

Assisted a team of manufacturing engineers on the production of large bearings by: organize and document the tooling for vertical turning lathes on the shop floor, create operation and maintenance guides for new sand blast machines, reverse engineer a roundness gauge, drill plates, and weld fixtures then redesign for new parts, and design a cam follower extension to accommodate new parts for induction hardening.

Worked with Keowee Team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on: bridging strategies to document interim actions to mitigate risk of degraded equipment, circuit review of trip relays and emergency start and stop relays at Keowee Hydroelectric Station, and providing engineering oversight and assistance during hydroelectric generator rotor refurbishment project.

Worked on a manufacturing project to optimize the machining process of nickel based super alloys. Assisted in developing a system to detect voids in used semi-truck tires. Participated in course development for a graduate level class. Helped run an event for a middle school class as part of the Gateway to Technology program.
