Responsible for day to day management of a number key partners for Virgin Holidays Cruises. This involved large external corporations as well as internal stakeholder management at all levels of the business.Direct responsibility for key commercial targets for such as margin per passenger, total passengers booked and split of business by region. This was managed across various sales channels with differing approaches required for each. Securing marketing funds was also as regular part of my role which went hand in hand with building strong relationships with suppliers. Worked on group-wide initiatives including creation of business cases for new routes with Virgin Atlantic (San Juan/Vancouver/Cancun specifically) which required board approval. I was responsible for any cruise-specific products and promotions as well as development of unique and exciting products that gave stand out in a busy market.Also worked as subject matter expert/stream lead for wider business projects within the Virgin Holidays group on initiatives such as new system implementation and product innovations.Whilst working as Product Development Manager, I won a total of four Gold & Silver recognition awards for high level of performance against my personal targets.Took redundancy in November '13 due to office relocation.

This involved a number of different products visiting a wide range of destinations and with huge variations in complexity. Maximising the margin per passenger delivery was a key metric against which I performed strongly whilst maintaining required passenger volumes.As well as daily supplier contact sourcing the best deals, there was daily contact with both the sales & marketing teams for feedback/input on what was working well, where we felt there were opportunities to improve sales, as well as regular training/briefing sessions.Also managed placement of offers online in conjunction with web trading team. This was done both through performance of offers and in line with supplier funding commitments.Whilst in this role, I earned a place on the "Trip of a Lifetime" which was a staff incentive voted for by the senior management team to reward high-performing individuals.
