I believe in the power of listening and learning.I have 10+ years in IT Consulting with extensive experience in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a keen focus on Cyber Security. Consulting exposed me to a host of Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom-based applications, technologies, methodologies and processes and also affirmed my belief that I can do anything as long as I’m committed to the end-goal. Some of my key accomplishments include:• Developed time estimate and maintained project plan for a federal agency large scanner upgrade• Established a phishing prevention program for an entire federal agency of 5000 employees• Led several requirement gathering processes and developed complex business process specifications for federal agencies• Partially designed and supported a federal agency payment processing system that pays millions of dollars to hundreds of medical providersAfter completing an Information Awareness role at a federal agency in 2016, my focus has been on Cyber Security, and I have consistently sought out opportunities to align myself with the security teams during my consulting assignments. I have completed several training and certifications including ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). I’m currently working towards the ISC2 Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) which has significantly enhanced my knowledge of FISMA Security Controls Authorization and Assessment (A&A) requirements for federal agencies to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO).I’m looking forward to leveraging my Business Analyst and Project Management experiences as I continue to build my skills in cyber security risk, governance and compliance.
