Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program and managing three professionals. The primary focus of this position is major gift cultivation and solicitation (gifts over $25,000). Position reports directly to the College of Medicine Associate Dean for Development, responsible for $40 million in annual fundraising. Works closely with the Chairman, Department of Medicine, the largest Department within the College of Medicine with 246 faculty, 211 Trainees and 135 Research Staff. • Driving four separate large endowment campaigns for the University Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases and Rheumatology Divisions• Strategy development: partnering with Planned Giving, Central Development, Annual Giving, Prospect Research/Development and MUSC Foundation to collaboratively execute and expand fundraising strategies for Department of Medicine donors and prospects

Princeton is one of the top fundraising universities nationally, driven by high alumni participation levels. Responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, and managing team of 3 professionals and over 200 alumni volunteers to solicit donations from over 4,400 prospects and gifts up to $1 million. Led campaigns that collectively raised more than $113 million since 1999.Dedicated leader of fundraising for high priority 50th Reunion classes. Achieved record contributions of over $11 million with over 80% participation rate (highest across all classes) in 2017. Raised more than $37 million over a 5-year period, exceeding the class goals by more than 20%.Department-wide leadership of effort to maximize collection of $5-6 million of outstanding pledges. Work with peers to identify and mobilize against largest outstanding pledges with significant cash flow benefit to University.Responsible for partnering with Prospect Development and Research department to identify new high potential prospects, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date information on top donors. Work with internet tools and data mining to uncover best and most actionable information. Help to train other departmental personnel in techniques to increase productivity across the entire team.

Established Development Office at independent elementary school. As first leader of the department, worked closely with Board of Trustees, Headmistress, and volunteers to build foundation for successful annual fundraising. This included creating strategic plan, initiating annual giving campaign, managing their first Development Committee and soliciting major gifts - exceeding annual giving goal by 63%.

Special Assets Management: Managed 40 distressed commercial lending relationships; responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize recovery of loans through foreclosure, disposition of assets and the repackage and sale of our loans. Commercial Business Group: As a Relationship Manager, maintained 65 commercial loan and deposit relationships and solicited new business prospects. Consistently ranked among the highest in terms of new business activity ratios, including phone calls made and new proposals generated.
