I performed high scale bioconjugations between a variety of dyes and Ig antibodies. I worked independently and managed my own work schedule to meet company goals. In addition to this main task, I'd facilitated the transfer of finished goods between departments using Microsoft NAV, trained multiple coworkers on relevant SOPs, and helped modify day to day work schedules to improve output.

I tested individual components of their prototype PCS (pathogen capture system) at all levels as well as help develop a qPCR assay that would be used to test the finished product.I investigated possible sources of PCR inhibition, quantified and compared the efficiencies of individual steps within the system, and identify and brainstorm fixes for any structural weakness or possible source of contamination.I was trained under a Quality Management System (QMS) with Good Lab Practice (GLP) in mind and I helped prepare the labs for ISO-14385 certification.

Research was focused on soft macro-molecular polymer self-assemblies for light absorption and energy transfer. The goal of which was to create a novel organic photo-cell that could help make solar power more accessible by bringing sidestepping the costs associated with inorganic cells.I needed to characterize both the structure of the chemical complex and the Energy Transfer (FRET) efficiencies which used the skills listed below.
