I take a systems oriented and logic driven approach to FMCG manufacturing while still maintaining the flexible and dynamic mindset required to operate in an ever changing market.As operations manager, my strengths lie in empowering others, leading by example and building, improving and maintaining robust systems of operation. I believe that empowering employees and working collaboratively both within and between departments towards a common goal is key to operational excellence.Managing NPD I value the quality and integrity of ingredients, optimised processing conditions and wholesomeness. Taking yields, margins and turnaround times into consideration I also design products with the aim of market longevity. I developed the Cold Matter range of cold brew coffee and iced tea with these principles in mind with the coffee being ranged into Coles in its first year and both lines continuing strong growth to date.Having had experience as the quality manager at one of WAs largest food manufacturing plants I gained key insights into complex manufacturing systems as well as being exposed to many operational systems and standards.I am eager to continue taking on responsibilities, learning and building my experience with the aim of being able to one day share the knowledge gained with the next generation working in FMCG.
