President/Tissue Bank Director shares responsibilities for the day-to-day operations with the CEO and Vice President, along with the over-all strategic direction of the organization, including the establishment of goals and objectives in accordance with the Mission Statement and Quality Policy.The President/Tissue Bank Director is also the appointed "Management Representative of the Quality Management System," who irrespective of other responsibilities is responsible to ensure the quality system requirements are effectively established and maintained: and whom shall be responsible to annually, as a minimum, report on the performance of the Quality Management System, in accordance with the companies SOP.

Responsible for preparing and conducting training programs in tissue banks. Writes literature and materials to be used in programs and designs presentations to enhance learning for customers. Conducts in-services, evaluations and installation training regarding safety, handling, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Serves customers by selling products, while meeting customer needs, maintaining customer base

Assisted the Chairman in scheduling, contracting, planning The American Association of Tissue Banks Quality Donor Education Workshops as well as the Annual Meeting.

Coordinates tissue donation process, including: referrals, procurement, shipping, and storage of tissue, while maintaining a positive, professional relationship with hospital, funeral home, and medical examiner staff. Safely and responsibly recovers human tissue for transplant and/or research, while maintaining the option to effectively reconstruct the donor remains. Assembles team, supplies, and arranges transportation of team, supplies, and donor to recover facility. Ensures and promotes compliance with quality control measures dictated by federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures operational activities are conducted within constraints established by approved policy and procedure, including preparation of referral and donor charts and records. Ensures tissue charts are completed and forwarded to QA in a timely and accurate manner. Assists with on-site training of full and part-time staff. Attends meetings as required.
