My primary role was to support the EpicCare Beacon-Oncology application for seven healthcare organizations of varying size and structure across the United States. I additionally had many other responsibilities including:Brought my third client live on the Beacon application and met with end users to discuss pain points and implement improvements for their workflows.Supporting end users in person at the cancer centers to teach them how to most effectively utilize their new software.Providing feedback on internal development releasing in future versions.Owning new features by becoming an expert and answering questions regarding potential benefits and limitations.Creating internal documentation with recommendations for implementing various features.Working directly with physicians to design therapy plans to their specifications.

I worked alongside ED physicians to document their findings on their patients complaints. In order to prepare for the fast pace of the ED, I was trained to listen intently for key medical terminology that would be most pertinent for the patients' medical record.

In both roles, I held weekly office hours to allow students to ask me questions.
