Editing and rewriting news stories, giving headlines and photo captions, and making pages using CCI Layout Champ were my main responsibilities. The work involved coordinating with reporters, photographers and designers to ensure all content and design elements were in place well before the deadline. The work helped me sharpen my news judgment, news writing, story telling and editing skills. I also became a highly competent user of CCI, the page design software.
