As an Engagement Manager with the Chartis Group in the Revenue Cycle practice, Nathaniel Vergara is focused on helping healthcare organizations to better align their Revenue Cycle department to keep up with the increasingly complex and demanding healthcare system. He has over fifteen years of healthcare revenue cycle experience. He has held progressive roles focusing on areas such as patient access, scheduling, HIM, revenue integrity, billing, follow-up and cash posting. He has participated in and or led initiatives focused on implementation strategy, denial analysis and reduction, cash posting and reconciliation workflow improvement and charge and CDM related projects. Mr. Vergara continually works with revenue cycle and information technology teams to identify opportunities, collaboratively develop a mitigation and process improvement plan and oversee it through implementation and stabilization. He is also a certified coder, CPC, and holds his Epic Hospital Billing Administrator certification.
