In my position as a Civil Engineering Intern for Nampa, I have worked on various projects including Stopping Sight Distance calculations as well as crosswalk policy, implementations, and reviews. I have also aided in a permeable concrete policy implementation and project as well as performing various studies for different wetlands and stormwater capacities for the city.

I am the Boise State University point of contact for scheduling and organizing the Idaho Science and Aerospace Scholars camp hosted by the Idaho State Department of Education through NASA and the Space Grant Consortium. In this position, I focus on outreach to students during the fall semester to encourage sign-ups for the program. I also act as the learning assistant and hold office hours to assist them with assignments for their online class in the springtime. All the while, I am aiding the Idaho SDE in their preparation for the July academies.

In my position as a technology mentor at the Idaho Science and Aerospace Scholars Academy, I aided the students in group contact before the academy began, I set up Zoom correspondences, I helped the students with technological issues during the academy, and I also offered my guidance and assistance in their project to theorize a manned mission to Mars.

I am a Drone Pilot and Photogrammetry modeler for Dr. Nick Hudyma at Boise State University. In this position, I have learned to use various 3D modeling programs, programs that utilize CT scans of bones to measure fracturing, and programs that delineate runouts of basalt deposits and produce a grain size distribution curve. I have also learned how to pilot a drone and am earning my commercial license for drone flight as well as a certificate for professional drone research and data analysis from Boise State.
