 Hands on software and hardware experience designing products that employ the use of embedded microcontrollers (68HC705… B8 - to - B16, 68HC705V8…with the J1850 link, and 68HC11). Such products being Generic Electronic Modules (GEM’s), Climate Control Modules, Memory Mirror/Seat Modules, Remote Access Controller Modules (RAC’s) ,…etc.  Responsible for development of memory seat software and hardware for multiplex application. Responsible for the design and development of centralized and de-centralized microprocessor based multiplex systems, which were used to implement control over automotive body electrical and accessory functions (wire and fiber optic mediums). Designs of custom CMOS ASIC (Gate Array and Standard Cell) used in a ring multiplex system. This device interfaced with a microprocessor and communicated with other devices on a serial bus. Designed and installed Infrared and RF remote entry systems. Designed power MOSFET H - bridges and charge pump circuits to drive automotive peripherals (power windows, locks, seats,….etc.). Responsible for design validation and release of automotive climate control systems. A key member of an Advanced Engineering Team to study the development of Smart Junction Boxes that employed embedded microcontrollers to address the problem of high current load management in vehicles. Developed software and hardware (power and microcomputer interface) for an Electronic Hydraulic Power Steering (EPHS) controller that interfaced with a DC motor to control a power steering pump.  Developed a prototype synchronous windshield wiper controller for heavy duty trucks. This system will employ “two” DC motors and position feedback to accurate control wiper movement.
